When the owners of a new bakery approached LKCS seeking a logo design for their storefront, they came well prepared with a concept in mind which incorporated a millstone pattern within the letter O. We took their initial concept and presented a few options with different fonts and millstone patterns. We also offered a few additional concepts to include elements such as wheat, bread, and a rolling pin. The option that was chosen differs from what was first expected, but still maintains a subliminal nod to the millstone.
